DO YOU KNOW? You can see Jupiter and Venus in the night sky tonight!

If you look out in the sky now, you can see two very bright lights. They are not stars. Stars would twinkle but these lights do not. They are actually Jupiter and Venus!

Venus and Jupiter

The moon orbits near the planets this month and since the sky is clear tonight, Jupiter and Venus can be seen very very clearly! If you have a telescope, you may even be able to see Jupiter's four moons.

When I surfed the internet, I found out that the month of March is the best month to planet-watch! You can read more here, http://earthsky.org/astronomy-essentials/visible-planets-tonight-mars-jupiter-venus-saturn-mercury

If you were able to see Jupiter and Venus like I did tonight, comment and share with us your experience. If you missed the chance, don't worry. Hopefully the sky will be clear again tomorrow so that you would get the chance to see them again. Nevertheless, you can still comment on the post and share your thoughts with us!

P.S: My friend told me that he would send me pictures of the planets that he had captured from his telescope tonight. I will update the post once he sends me the pictures.

Have fun planet-watching!
